Magical objects are one of the most unique ways you can get your character to stand out in Dungeons & Dragons. Depending on what you are adapted to, your character may take the role of a melee -combat or more of a support class. However, some magic objects are not always so helpful, or at least seem a bit far.

The bag of trick seems empty when you first get it. But when you reach inside the bag you can discover a random, fuzzy object. By taking the magic action you can pull out the fuzzy object and throw up to 20 feet. From there, the Fuzzy object turns into a random animal.
Some of the animals you can pull from this bag are actually quite useful. But thanks to the random element of this object, you really never know what you will get. You can get a panther to help you in battle or badger.

This lye is so much more than just a beautiful musical instrument. You can actually practice this weapon as a Magic Club and handle 2D8 Thunder injuries to a successful hit. In addition, if you are a bard, you can use your charisma modifier instead of your strength modifier.
In the end, this article makes it to this list for an important reason: the visual gag of a bard that swings a giant lye as a club. The idea of using your musical instrument as a bludgeoning weapon is purely funny and in this case also extremely practical.

Hat of pests

Like the bag of tricks, the hat on pests is another magical object that can generate random creatures. When you hold this hat you can take a magical action and spend a charge to call either a bat, a frog or a rat. Something funny is the animal in question completely indifferent to you and your party.

10 Homebrew Stave idea that your DM definitely does not allow
These completely out there Homebrew Troll formulas for DND are something that your DM will definitely not allow, but you should try them anyway.
In the end, the hat on pests is a little more than a parody of a regular magician trick. It is funny that this article exists at all, but it can make a good complement to a beginner's guide arsenal if it is part of your character concept.

Heward's Handy Spice Pouch

This next magic item is for all chefs out there. This belt bag seems to be empty and has ten charges. When you hold this bag, you can take magical measures to spend a charge and name a non -magical type of seasoning such as salt or pepper. When you do, you can then remove the spice from the belt.
Yes, this is in a phrase a chef dream. This magical object would undoubtedly be helpful to the culinary slope in real life. But in the end it is probably not so useful in DND. Still, it's a little fun that there is at all.

Tires of many things

When it comes to chaotic magic objects, no one is as popular as the tire for many things. If you have not yet run this magical object as a DM, or experience it as a player, you are looking for a treat. Tires of many things are similar to a normal set of playing cards; However, drawing cards from this tire comes at your own risk.
Depending on the card you draw, you can either improve your abilities or statistics and permanently immobilize yourself permanently. For example, if you pull the Donjon card, you disappear and become united in suspended animation in an extra -planned dimension. High risk. High reward.

Mantle of many fashion

For precious characters, or for players who just want their character to look best, this is the next item for you. The coat for many fashion has a very simple, but creatively useful effect. When you wear this coat, you can take a bonus action to change the style, color and quality of the coat to everything you want.

Yes, really: the most datable monsters in Dungeons & Dragons
Would you crush or forward these Dungeons & Dragons monsters?
This means that you can make you look much richer than you actually are. Or you can make the coat more or less eye -catching, whatever you choose. Despite its lack of state buffets, this coat can actually prove extremely useful in a role-based campaign.

Sewage pipes

Rarity |
Unusual |

Requires setting? |
Yes |
Despite the name, the drainage pipes can actually prove to be extremely useful, as long as you get used to the stench. When you are adapted to this article, you will receive three fees restored at dawn. If you play the pipes, you can call a swarm of rats to you. The swarm then makes a DC 15 wisdom -saving throw. If they fail, they fall below your command.
This is the best way to live out a pied piper fantasy. You can also call several swarms by spending more fees. Warn, but if they save, the rats will, however, do nothing to help you.

Awakening

This pot seems perfectly common and is perfect for growing small plants. If you plant a regular bush in this pot and let it grow for 30 days, the bush eventually wakes up as a brown bush (see 2025 Monster manual for their state block) and breaks the pot.
From there, the bush is friendly to you and your allies and follow your commands, which means you can have a friendly ally in battle. However, using this article in battle means that you may have to carry the pot with you for 30 days or make a return to a bastion. Either way, this item is good for characters with a green thumb.

Birdcall's staff

This staff is decorated with bird listings and has 10 fees. When you hold the staff and use a magical action, you can spend a fee from the staff to perfectly mimic a bird call for a range of 120 feet. And yes, that's really everything it does.

Every skill in Dungeons & Dragons ranked whether they are actually useful or not
What skills in Dungeons & Dragons are actually the most useful? Here everyone is, ranked.
The staff obviously has a nice design and can give a nice taste for a druid character. In the end, I just love the idea of a very serious Dungeons & Dragons role -playing moment that is broken up by the sound of a goose that prevents.

Tankard of sobriety

Rarity |
Common |

Tankard of Socriety has a very strict, meaningful face carved on one side of Tankard. While Tankard does not affect magical substances, if you drink wine, ale or any other alcoholic substance from this tankard, you can drink without being rude.
To be honest, I'm not really sure what purpose this tankard would serve. Maybe at best you can use it to fake through a drinking competition. This article is so outlandic, I can't believe it is even in Dungeons & Dragons. But it is a nice touch to add a very full magical articles list.
