The prism system was added The rest 2 along with the release of The Dark Horizon DLC, and it gives players the opportunity to gain some significant stat bonuses and powerful unique effects. Although there is an element of randomness inherent in this system, there is a process that can be used to minimize it. This guide is here to detail that process, and fans who follow it will eventually be able to create their perfect prisms in The rest 2.
Although this guide will touch on some of the fundamental aspects of the Prism system, it assumes that the reader has a general understanding of how the system works. If a player does not have that understanding, it is recommended that they return to this guide after reading this explanation of the Prism system in

Remnant 2: Prism Crafting Guide
Identify four desired mergers
To begin with, it is important to understand that a prism has five improvement siteswhich players will fill with effects corresponding to the effects provided by The rest 2s relic fragments. That said, as players level up their prisms, certain combinations of effects will combine to create “Fusions.” These mergers allow players to get two effects from a single Enhancement slotwhich frees up a place for additional effect.
To flesh out this idea with an example, a player might have Mod Duration and Skill Duration in two of their Prism's Enhancement slots. Eventually, these two effects would be combined into a Longevity Fusion, which puts Mod Duration and Skill Duration into just one Enhancement slot.
With that established, players looking to make their perfect prisms should start by identifying theirs ideal four fusionssince that is a maximum number of fusions that can exist in a single prism. To do this, players should refer to this datamined list of mergers in The rest 2 and choose the four fusions with effects most suited to their desired build.
Feed relic fragments into the prism
The rest 2 players should now feed Mythical Relic Fragments who give their first Fusions effects in their prism. For example, if a player chooses Longevity (which combines Mod Duration and Skill Duration) as their first Fusion, they should input a Mythic Mod Duration Fragment and a Mythic Skill Duration Fragment into their prism.
Feeding a relic fragment into a prism increases the chance of its effect appearing when the prism is leveled up. The intensity of this increased chance is determined by the rank of the Relic Fragment, and while fans of third-person shooters can input Fragments below Mythic into their prisms, it is not recommended.
Players should now repeat this process for other Fusion as they chose. For example, if a player chose Mage (which combines Mod Damage and Mod Power Generation) as their second Fusion, they should input a Mythic Mod Damage Fragment and a Mythic Mod Power Generation Fragment into their prism.
At this point, players will have greatly increased their chances of seeing four effects when leveling up their Prisms, but Prisms have five Enhancement slots. As such, Soulslike fans should feed another mythic fragment into their prism, and it should be for one of the effects in the third Fusion as they chose. For example, if the third Fusion chosen is Flash (which combines Cast Speed and Use Speed), the player must input either a Mythic Cast Speed Fragment or a Mythic Use Speed Fragment into their prism.
Level Up Prism for First Fusion
With the roll chances of five effects increased, fans of action games can finally begin level up their prism. At each level up, the player will either add an effect to an open enhancement slot (until all five are filled) or increase the strength of an effect that has already been selected. While this may seem obvious, the goal here is to fill the enhancement slots with the five effects that were targeted in the previous step and then enhance these effects as the prism's level increases.
As a player continues to enhance the effects in their Prism's Enhancement slots, they will eventually see one of their targeted Fusions appear during a selection of levels. Fans should watch out select that fusionand they will find that they have an open enhancement slot and that the level of their prism has decreased after the choice is made.
Feed prism food and level up for second fusion
After choosing the first fusion, players should feed a relic fragment into their prism completing the pairing of their third chosen Fusion. Returning to the Flash example, if a player had already inserted a Mythic Cast Speed Fragment into their prism, they should now insert a Mythic Use Speed Fragment into it (and vice versa).
Fans can now return to level up their prismand be sure to select their newly targeted effect for the open enhancement slot when it appears. Eventually, fans of co-op games will have the opportunity to combine two more of their effects into one other Fusionand they should do just that.
Feed prism food and Level Up for third and fourth fusion
The player should now feed Relic Fragments into their prism with effects corresponding to theirs fourth selected Fusion. For example, if a player chose Revitalize (which combines Health Regeneration and Skill Cooldown) as their fourth Fusion, they should input a Mythic Mod Duration Fragment and a Mythic Skill Duration Fragment into their prism.
Fans can now return to level up their prismand be sure to select one of their newly targeted effects when it appears. When the opportunity to choose one third Fusion occurs, the players should take it. Remnant fans should then proceed to level up their prism, select the remaining target effect for their newly opened fifth slot, and grab fourth Fusion when available.
Feed prism food and level up to 50
Players should now have their four desired Fusions and an open Enhancement slot in their prisms. Die-hard fans should fill the last slot by feeding any desired Mythic Fragment into their prism and choosing its effect when it appears. Notably, all effects in Enhancement slots will be at max effect when the prism reaches level 50.
Level up to 51 and choose legendary bonus
Players should now take their prism to level 51 to select its Legendary bonus. For the uninitiated, these bonuses are extremely powerful, and there are more than 40 of them in the game. But fans will only be able to choose from three randomly selected legendary bonuses at level 51, and there's a good chance they won't see the effect they were chasing after their The rest 2 build.
Clean Prism and try again
If a player doesn't get their desired legendary bonus, they have the option to clear their prism and start over. In fact, fans of games with lots of secrets will likely have to go through the process described in this guide many times before creating their perfect prism.
