One of the two main power systems in the series
Devil fruits are definitely the most iconic power found in A bit world. It is unique compared to other stories, and for some time they were the only real power system in A bit. Later, Haki was introduced and incorporated properly.
Devil Fruits is divided into three categories: Paramecia, Logia and Zoan. These categories themselves can have subcategories. There is a subcategory of Paramecia, known as a special paramecia. The only known person who has a fruit of this type is Katakuri.
For Zoans there are two subcategories – ancient and mythical zoans. For Logias, there is no known subcategory.
Devil fruits are exciting and often mysterious. Their origin has been suggested in the story, but the whole mystery has not yet been fully resolved. One thing that the fans know, however, is that they did not always exist. There were no devil fruits for the time for the first Nika. Instead, these devil fruits came from people's imagination in the other world. Much remains unknown about them, and the fans will have to wait and see what Oda has waiting for them.

As fans know, with each new bow, new villains are displayed, usually stronger and harder than the previous ones. The Holy Knights and five elders are two powerful groups that made their movement in the last story, and both share a frightening ability – endless renewal and immortality.
There are many questions about this ability, and fans have wondered how someone can counteract it. Gaban knows a way to counteract it, probably used Haki, but there may be another way to do it, and it is in a very special type of devil fruit.
Some devil fruits in A bit has the ability to influence a person's soul. The best example of this is none other than Big Mom, the user of Soru Soru No Mi, literally Soul Soul Fruit.
Another big example is Brook, a member of Straw Hat Pirates. He has Yomi Yomi No Mi. This devil fruit abilities are also based on soul forces.
Although less obvious, Ope Ope No Mi, Law's Devil Fruit, also has an ability related to it. Laws can change souls and personalities, which are seen in punk.

Soul Damaging Devil Fruits can be a huge asset to have in the last story and ODA can choose to explore this concept further. This power is also the reason why many people believe that Big MOM must return to history, as she can have a huge role to play. Elbaf would be her time to shine, especially since she has an important connection to this country because of her backstory.

Someone else who can have forces related to the soul is actually Saint Imu. After all, IMU seems to be able to give characters forces and make them immortal. IMU can even take over and control certain characters, in a way that seems to affect their souls, seen with Gunko and her shared personality. But nothing is revealed yet, and the fans will have to see what IMU's forces exactly mean. It is not impossible that IMU will have an ability similar to Big Mom's but more powerful in every way possible.
