It has been a long and we mean a long time because all the details about the game have been shared, which makes a recovery all the more exciting.
After what feels like years of silence, Ubisoft opened the flood gates on Friday by teasing its previously announced remake of Splinter Cell in the weirdest way possible … A screenshot of what we hope is the protagonist Sam Fisher.
The Crypticret comes exactly one week before the summer playing party 2025, which would be such a mature place as everyone for a complete re-revision and maybe even a release date. Now, in the wake of Tease, a reliable insider has provided an update that should only add fuel to the hype train.

Splinter Cell -remake would make 2025 a game year for ages
In a post on social media, insider Tom Henderson revealed that the Remake remake “looks really impressive” based on what he has seen. He also noted that the screenshot that was shared on Friday by Ubisoft is not from remake, which would facilitate the fans' worries.
Henderson is of course extremely reliable, especially when it comes to Ubisoft projects. As early as 2021, Henderson was among the first to report on Splinter Cell's place of residence.
Last October, Insider Gaming reported that the Remake project was not dead and was made in Ubisoft's snowdrop engine, which had been used in Star Wars Outlaws. At that time it was reported that the game could be released in 2026, although there was no guarantee.
Given how long it has been since the game's first reveal, it really is due to a proper update. Meanwhile, a super fan managed to improve the original game while restoring some cut content.
