Grand Theft Auto 5's sales continue to be strong for a decade later

The Grand Theft Auto 5 has been a huge success, but its hard number is really astonishing.
In a new financial report, take-two has revealed that the title has topped 215 million units sold, up from 210 million units from a quarter ago.
The decades old title manages to operate five million units per quarter and is dangerously close to reporting half of the entire GTA as a franchise's entire sale.

At this time, it is clear that Grand Theft 5 has seen its fair share of release and ports. Of course, the game first came out on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 far back in 2013.

Then, a year later, the game was then taken to Playstation 4 and Xbox One in a more improved version. Flash until 2022, and the game was once again portrayed to Playstation 5 and Xbox Series Hardware. Oh, and if it wasn't enough, back in March, GTA 5 Enhanced Edition came to PC, even though that upgrade was almost as well received.

The only place where the Grand Theft Auto 5 is not available is Nintendo Switch, and who knows, which can change when take-two confirmed its support for Switch 2 in early February. The figures, which were shared in take-two's latest financial report, show that the Sandbox game 2013 is up to 215 million life units. One quarter ago, that was the number of 210 million units. During its lifetime, the GTA franchise as a whole has sold 450 million units, with GTA 5, which accounts for almost half of sales … ever.

It is a pretty fantastic set of numbers, everything that is considered. Go up that people not only buy GTA 5 like hotcakes, but also look at it, as the game managed to top 1.4 billion hours watching Twitch. I know I'm not the only one who bought the GTA 5 more than once, but it is wild to think about the game's residence power for a decade later. GTA 6's figures will almost certainly be even more wild.
