Alolan Raichu Ex has the potential that one-shot many current metal goals such as Giratina ex and Gyrado's ex, change the game's landscape.
In spite of any early reports claiming that Pokemon TCGOn April 30, the expansion would contain three booster packages and be based on Gen 3, today an official press release came out along with a trailer showing the new Alala-based Celestial Guardians set. Gen 7 is the least represented in Pokemon TCG Right now, so it makes sense for the game to finally give Alala a deserved love, with the set including two booster variants based on Solgaleo and Lunala. Only a handful of cards have been officially revealed so far, but one of them stands out as a potential gaming exchange for the current methane.
Pokemon TCGThe Shining Revelry Set changed dramatically how the game is played by adding a regular card in the form of Giratina ex. This card not only has good statistics and a 130 injury adapter, not only is it a basic ex-card, but it also has the ability that makes it possible to generate mental energy for free once per trip at the cost of ending the turn immediately. This caused several new tires to rise to the top of methane, and now that the Celestial Guardians are being released, players will finally have a good, consistent calculator for this.

Pokemon TCG Pocket player gets frustrated over some of the game's performance
Players who visit the digital trading card mobile game Pokemon TCG Pocket share a collective complaint in terms of performance.
The next Celestial Guardians meta card is likely to be the new Alolan Raichu Ex, which has 140 hp and mental as attack, and handles 60 damage at the base plus 30 for each energy linked to the opposite active Pokemon. This attack costs three energy, which is not a small amount, but they can all be of a certain type. The reason why this is important is that Alolan Raichu can not only counteract many major threats in the format, but it can do so in all tires.
Short as Pokemon TCGMagnezone or Druddigon is still extremely popular because they can virtually suit all tires, and Giratina ex follows similar criteria thanks to its broken space ability. As such, Alolan Raichu ex can be placed in all tires as long as players also have a pikachu in itself, and it can even work with staple combinations such as Dialga ex's metallic turbo attack. Having an attacker who can do short work with all “bench threats”, that is, Pokemon that needs to be on the bench for a few turns for structure can dramatically increase a tire's profit frequency, and Alolan Raichu ex will do just that.
Alolan Raichu ex can potential one shot of most of the current methane, provided that the opposite Pokemon has some or all the energy needed for its attacks attached. For example, Alolan Raichu ex KO in a single attack Giratina ex whether it has 3 or more energy, and the same goes for Darkrai ex. Pokemon TCGGyarado's ex is also unlikely to be viable after the heavens are released, since the alolan Raichu ex is the perfect counter for it because it is also weak for electrical types. Since Gyarado's ex needs 4 energy to attack, Alolan Raichu ex KO can be in place and potentially even live his attack with a giant cape.
How Celestial Guardians' Alolan Raichu Ex will change methane
The following is that methane will have to adapt, as many big hitters will have an automatic counter in Alolan Raichu Ex, so they can either see less play or adjust conditions and strategies to manage this Gen 7 threat. Pokemon TCG Tires will also have to deal with its energy management, as having too much in the active location can lead to sudden KOs. The alolan Raichu ex still has some counters, and Druddigon will probably be one. Players will have to wait and see until the extension is released, but this card has a lot of potential to become one of the best in the game.
