Nintendo Switch Online have added Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to the Subscription Service's growing Game Boy Advance library, which is available to members of the extension package. By registering for Nintendo Switch Online, subscribers can play Nintendo Switch games with friends online and enjoy a developing range of retro games from older consoles, including Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis.
Two levels of Nintendo Switch Online subscription service are available. For 19.99 per year, subscribers get access to the base level with online -multiplayer support and classic titles from NES, SNES and Game Boy. Players can go up to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Tier, which costs $ 49.99. Expansion Pack comes with Base Nintendo Switch Online subscription, free DLC for various Nintendo Switch games and access to Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance and Sega Genesis games. When Nintendo Switch 2 is launched on June 5, Expansion Pack subscribers will also have access to Nintendo Gamecube titles on the platform, including The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and F-Zero GX. On Nintendo Switch 2, subscribers will also have access to all classic games released to that point, including the recently added Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones was released on October 7, 2004 for Game Boy Advance in Japan as the eighth post in the prolonged Fire emblems series. The following year Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Went to the United States on May 23, 2005 and its arrival at Nintendo Switch Online comes just one month before the 20th anniversary in the West. Expansion Pack subscribers can play the classic Fire emblems Title by opening the Game Boy Advance app on Nintendo Switch and starting the title from the menu.
