Andaseat Novis is the best budget playing chair

One of the best things to get out of the gaming culture is the normalization of “gaming chairs”. You know the types: buckets of rolling chairs with high as hell backrests and probably some futuristic surrounds. What was once reserved for Call of Duty Livestreamers has become an extremely more common object of all daily Desk users.

How to motivate an expensive hobby? This article, it is so.

With the increase in the ordinary came an increase in competition. The number of available brands that make comfortable gaming chairs has Skyrocket over the years. Now our cup goes over with alternatives. And the exact reason why I love it is because it means that brands like Andaseat get a chance to shine. Large brands become too confident, inflate prices or release the quality, which leaves room for some manufacturers of underdog chair to enter the limelight.

I got a “Andaseat nois series best budget ergonomic gaming chair” to spend some time with. It is the big option (their smallest size for some reason) and came with linen fabric. No memory foam cushions or other such accessories were provided.

A swivel chair that turns the head

Novis gives a great first impression. The neutral color choices and racing car shapes let it mix that line of players and office leaders nicely. The material feels nice, and it remains comfortable all day. With a price tag of $ 200 (remarkably lower than many other similar products) it seemed almost too good. My former gaming chair cost almost twice as much, and it has metal bars, broken foam and even got its mechanism replaced once. What is the catch here?

It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all, right? Especially when it comes to budget premium ergonomic office furniture. So I have opened my heart again and spent a few weeks with novice. It was my go-to-seat for all days at work, long voice calls with friends and several extended hours of gaming sessions because “I can't go to bed yet. I have to stay up and play Minecraft to 3 am. If I don't, how do I know if this chair really holds up?”

You want to sit for this next part

The Andaseat Novis game chair that was introduced in a scene from Red Dead Redemption 2.

Of all, my favorite part of this chair is – get this – the seat. It makes sense that they would prioritize that part, I guess. It is a thick, almost plush foam material with just the right amount. It gives both a feeling of softness and firmness. They promote the material as “60 kg/m³ cold cure foam.” I do not know what it means, really, but it is clearly a pride for the company, and I can definitely feel why.

But the really smart part is the bucket forming. Like most player chairs, Andaseat has novice upper curves on the sides of the seat. This gives a feeling of “hug” to the legs. Other gaming chairs that I have owned have used a hard material to act as the legs on these pages, a point that I have grown to dislike over time. If I wanted to sit in my chair strangely, they would push against my legs uncomfortable. With novice, however, it is completely free from hard pieces, so I can sit cross legs, sideways, make some lazy chair yoga, you name it; Everything is comfortably supported. The chairman who handles that freedom of comfort while maintaining the bucket forming is fantastic.

A little upholstery rubs me the wrong way

Among the two clothing options I chose the linen fabric. PVC leather, although animal friendly, is much worse for the environment due to its production process, non-biological degradability and tendency to flake with age. It does not breathe as nicely as fabric, which is important in my warmer than average offices. Sure, the linen may sink after a couple of years, but at least it will not be crumbled to dark flaky pieces that would get over my clothes.

I have a separate grip with companies that use the term “premium” to describe a material when it does not matter.

Novis, like me, struggling to accept change

The Andaseat Novis game chair is approaching the adjustment mechanisms.

My biggest criticism of the chairman must be the level of adjustability. Your average gaming/office chair normally comes with a variety of buds and handles under the seat to adjust things like slope, height, arm position. However, Novis has two options, three if you count the armrests.

Novis has the expected altitude setting and a handbrake style for how far back the backrest goes. There is another option for overall slope, but without a way to lock these levels in it only acts as a swing function.

The armrest is not much better. Some finer chairs will have several adjustment options, such as how close they are, the height and even if they are rotated in or not. With novice, the only option is height. You can adjust how far they are when you install, but change in it required manually unloading of the three installation bolts.

In fact, I think the best office chair is one without armrests to get in the way. It makes it easier to jump in and out of, and I am free to sit in what is bone bones that I like without them getting in the way. As such, I completely removed them and eliminated this problem.

While I would have wanted to see more freedom with these adjustments, I am not very disturbed in the end. This way is probably better for my posture anyway.

Now that I've had time to really sit on my feelings, I think this is my new favorite chair. The deficiencies Andaseat Novis has is less and hardly important for long -term comfort. However, its strengths hit really strong. It replaced my daily desk chair, and I have stared back at my old gaming chair stubbornly. I would definitely recommend Novis to anyone watching upgrading from standard post prices.
