2025 will be an exciting year for Demonsklayer Fans, because anime will reach its epic conclusion. Rather than having a final season like most anime, however Demonsklayer will have a trilogy of movies that bring the final infinity castle arch from the sides to manga to the screen. Fans have been waiting to see this exciting part of the story brought life, especially with DemonsklayerS Amazing Animation Style, for several years.

Through the history of DemonsklayerTanjiro and his sister, Nezuko, have been central to the action. They both appear in almost every section, and Nezuko has been a huge motivational factor on Tanjiro's journey to aveng for her family – and to turn her into a human again. Throughout its journey, Nezuko has also grown and become stronger and more important for the action. So it may come as a surprise to fans who have not read manganese to learn that Nezuko will unlikely to appear in Infinity Castle ARC in any serious capacity. Why? At the end of the swordsmith village arc happened something incredible with Nezuko which was a huge turning point in the story of Demonsklayer. Throughout the series, even the most powerful demons have had the same weakness – sunlight. If someone is fighting against the demons can only stay alive and keep them busy until the sunrise, no matter how strong the demon is, it will die in the sunlight. The same goes for Kibutsuji Muzan, the demon king. His only remaining weakness, which prevents him from being perfect and immortal, is sunlight.

Since transformed into a demon, Nezuko has shared the same weakness. No matter how powerful she became in her demon form, or how much of her humanity she seemed to be able to maintain, she was still weak against sunlight and it could kill her. Everything changed at the end of the village of Swordsmith, where it was revealed that Nezuko had overcome this weakness and could exist in the sun. It was also a turning point for her because she could remove her bamboo nozzle and finally start talking again.

No other demon in history could develop this way, although all demons were originally human. Only Nezuko could mutate to be safe in sunlight again. Not being weak to the sun has been Muzan's goal for over a millennium, and he has relentlessly persecuted a “cure” against his sun -light sensitivity and believed it would help him get real immortality. When he learns that Nezuko has overcome his only weakness, he becomes obsessed with finding her.

As mentioned above, when Nezuko was able to conquer his sensitivity to sunlight, it made her Muzan's highest priority. His obsession changed from trying to unlock the secrets of Blue Spider Lilies, who originally cured his human body body but failed to give him real immortality, to catch Nezuko. In Muzan's eyes, Nezuko had achieved a perfect, eternal body, and if he could only catch her, he could get the same thing.

At the same time, Demon Slayer Corps has tried – and failed – to defeat Muzan for centuries. He is simply too powerful, and while fighting against the demons created by his influence, they can never defeat them at the source. Their only hope of defeating Muzan is to destroy him with his only weakness, sunlight. If Muzan could overcome that weakness, Demon Slayer Corps and the rest of humanity would probably never have a chance to defeat him.

Thus, the most important thing is to keep Nezuko as far away from Muzan as possible. If he can get hold of her and understand her powers and her ability, maybe he can replicate them. Muzan is an intelligent creature that has shown an understanding of science and has lived for centuries. The chances of unlocking Nezuko's power is high, even if it takes time. It is not something that humanity can afford to happen. Despite Nezuko's incredible strength and abilities, it is thus in everyone's best interest that she remains protected from him and as far away as possible to eliminate the risk of her ever falling into Muzan's connections.

Practically, it would be difficult to understand why Muzan couldn't get Nezuko's powers if she came to Infinity Castle with the rest of Demon Slayers. It would be a very hard plot hole to ignore and would also make it impossible for Muzan to have a weakness to exploit. So even though Nezuko is one of the main characters in the series, and a fan favorite on it, it makes sense that she will not make much look in the Infinity Castle Arc. Her not Being in the last battle is the key to the defeat of the main antagonist and a happy ending for the series.
