One Marvel's Midnight Suns feature should be exposed to Insomniac's X-Men

Marvel Games has had some huge hits in recent years, with Insomniac's The spider Series that sell over 40 million copies and the recently released Marvel Rivals maintain their high active player bill. But the unmatched success of these games has unintentionally overshadowed some of Marvel's other video game release, games that may not have been great financial successes but still deserve recognition. Marvel's Midnight Suns is such a game.

Released in December 2022, Marvel's Midnight Suns Got favorable reviews across the line, but it failed to become a mainstream success, with take-two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed in February 2023 that the game was a commercial flop. It is then unlikely that fans will get a sequel to Midnight Suns Anytime soon. But there are a few features that deserve to live on, one would be perfect for Insomniac rumored X-Men games.

Marvel has had a lot of hit mobile games under his belt, but Franchiset's recently announced title may be a pseudo-breeding for Midnight Suns.

Between Marvel's Midnight Suns Exciting tour-based superhero fights, playing players to explore the foundation for the team's Abbey head office. During the downtime, players are encouraged to talk to their teammates, exchange gifts and increase their relationship points, which in turn gives them new card abilities and cosmetics.

Midnight Suns'Relationship system plays a surprising key role in gameplay loop, and it develops in some important ways during the game's 40-hour driving time. After each assignment in Midnight SunsPlayers can choose between a handful of heroes to spend time with. Players can also find ports dotted around the monastery, which they can invite heroes to. Midnight Suns Even lets players create a handful of social clubs, such as a book club led by Blade. Participation in these events rewards the player with new cards, clothing and lots of engaging stories showing how well celebrated celebration understood these iconic Marvel characters.

Back in December 2023, Insomniac Games suffered a large hack that resulted in countless confidential files leaking on the Internet. Some of these files suggested that Sony had done a deal with Marvel to get the exclusive rights to create X-Men games, and that Insomniac was directly involved in creation. This has not been confirmed in any official capacity, but it is still rumored that Insomniac is working on an X-Men game.

A nuclear facet of the X-Men is the team's intertwearing relationships and ever-changing dynamics. Without Jean Gray/Scott Summers/Logan Love Triangle, Gambit and Rogue's Bittersweet relationship and Xavier's role as a mentor (or intense dynamics as them), the X-but would not be almost as interesting as they are. This is something Insomniac's rumored X-Men game must remember.

It would be wise for Insomniac's X-Men to implement a relationship system similar to that in Marvel's Midnight SunsWhere players are encouraged to talk to teammates in downtime between action sequences.
