Wonderful animation for the wonderful tiger

Two sin archbishops down, two to go before Subaru's side may require victory in Re: zeroS struggle for the Watergate city Priestella. The previous section saw the defeat of his archbishop of greed, regular, in the hands of Subaru, Emilia and Reinhard. This time, in Re: zero Season 3, section 13, “The Warrior's Commandation”, the main focus is not on a fight against one of its archbishops. Instead, it is between Garfiel Tinsel and the resurrected eight-armed warrior Kurgan. In addition, this section gives viewers a glimpse of what happens to other ongoing fights.

Re: zero Really gave the anime fans a shock for this one, as it just lost what is perhaps the most wonderfully animated fight in the entire anime. Before this section, Garfiel and Kurgan's struggle may have been the one with the minimum amount of hype. The struggle does not directly involve a sinning archair, and it is overshadowed a bit by Wilhelm's struggle, which began in the same place and time. But now the dazzling animation and Garfiel that breaks through his devastating fear have strengthened this as one of, if not the best, fighting in Re: zero Anime so far.

The quality of the animation is thanks to Vincent Chansard, who hit to help Animate this section of Re: zero. Vincent is best known for animating the critically acclaimed Sukuna against the Mahoraga match in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Other than that fight, but he is also animated sequences in other fantastic anime as A bitThe Mob Psycho 100and even the video game Persona 3 reload.

Following up the other fights

Lye vs. Felt and Otto's group

Last time, Otto's group was shown, Otto called a bunch of watercourses to attack one of his archbishops in Gluttony, Lye Batenkaitos. In this section, while Lye had her hands full with the dragons, the group discussed its plan.

Apparently, before being caught by Lye, Felt's group was on its way back to the inn to retrieve a powerful metia, which according to Old Man Rome was powerful enough to hurt someone like Reinhard. So they decided to have felt rush to the inn, get Metia and return to use it on Lye. At the same time, Otto and the rest of the group would keep Lye busy, as he had already beaten the watercourses.

Capella vs. al

The next battle is between his archbishop of Lust, Capella Emerada Lugunica and Priscilla's knight, Aldebaran. As usual, Capella used its shape shift to disorient its enemy, but the technology did not really have much effect on AL. Even in the form of Priscilla, cut al of her head and blows up her body. Unfortunately, Capella simply regenerated and the battle continues.

Wilhelm van Astrea vs Theresia van Astrea

Although it was absent in the majority of the section, a glimpse was shown by Wilhelm and Tehesia's collision in the scene after credit. Wilhelm had suffered an injury near his right hip but was still strong. Depressing he told his dead wife that he would send her back to the afterlife and that he hoped to see her there eventually. You would think this means that their struggle will be the focus of the next section, but that is not necessarily the case because the scene after credit in the previous section was also this struggle.

Section 13's main fight

Garfiel the wonderful tiger takes center

The star in this section is Garfiel Tinsel, Tiger-Human Hybrid. The section begins with Garfiel in its tiger form, all beaten and bloody. The Kurgan is not the only opponent he has to worry about, which the demi-animals Capella also attacks him, and worse, he cannot cause himself to hurt them. Ever since the end of Re: zero Season 2, Garfiel has undergone an internal battle. He was haunted by Elsa, the intestinal hunter, which he defeated and killed back in Roswaal Herrgård. It was the first time he ever killed someone, and it traumatized him, which led to him now often hallucinating Elsa who mocked him, especially in fights, called him weak and unable to protect others.

Demi-beasts were particularly tough for Garfiel because they were previously human. Capella uses human corpses mixed with inorganic materials such as weapons to create demi animals, and this knowledge fits Garfire's hallucinations. Elsa asks him cute if he has the strength to kill these animals that were once human. Moments like this make Garfiel hesitate, which Kurgan uses to his advantage and eventually weakens Garfiel enough to return to his human form.

The fight continued for a good while until they stumbled into one of the shelter filled with civilians, and among them were Garfire's half -siblings. Seeing them in danger gave him the courage to finally handle a deadly blow to one of the attacking demi animals, which allowed him to finally get rid of Elsa. His siblings encourage him and give him the strength to fight on, even get the rest of the audience to rejoice for him. Kurgan soon caught up, and this resulted in one of the most epic fights in Re: zero. Garfiel came victorious, and Kurgan even gave him a praise from one legendary warrior to another. The Kurgan then forwards peacefully, and Priestella is now another step closer to freedom.
