For a short period of time, the subsets dominated the indie world with FTL: Faster than light. Many players wondered what their follow -up would be, but few could have guessed that it might be something that Into the violation. This cerebral, simple yet deceptively complex strategy game is one of the best tactical RPGs with Roguelike elements ever made.
While players have as much time as they want to think about their turn, quick thinking comes in when they try to limit the huge amount of compound opportunities a player has. It is impossible to think through every permutation of abilities, characters, movements, intervals and terrain. A player must limit these opportunities as quickly as possible to focus on making the right move.

The XCOM Games are the grandfather of all modern video game strategy games, groundbreaking key mechanics that would define the genre and always try to reinvent the genre in new directions. The original reboot of the 2010s was well received, and Xcom 2 Just improved what came before. In a tense fight against foreigners, intricate troops can be crumbled at the moment due to the game's notorious Permadeath mechanic.
Quick thinking comes in the form of timer assignments, where players only have a certain number of turns to find out how they will achieve their goal and come out on time. There is always some random chance in a XCOM Games, which means players have to find out how they can quickly adapt if they want to succeed.

Of the many amazing games on this list no one has captured Hardcore Tactical RPG -fan quite like Frozen synapse. This hardcore tactics game required players to compete against each other or AI to perform high risk maneuvers.
The difficulty comes from the player to have to plan his movement in advance and then watch it play at the same time as the enemy. This means that players must analyze the gaming permit as quickly as possible to come up with an appropriate plan for the next turn, all while their opponents do exactly the same thing.

Total War: Warhammer 3 launched Total war Franchise to a new echelon of popularity, and rightly. It is perhaps the best version of Total war Formula that has ever been added to pixels, with massive battles, deep thinking, a wide range of thematically distinct fractions and compelling RPG elements.
Quick thinking comes in the form of the game's combat sections in real time. Players must command devices to best fight the opposite side, often requires quick reflexes or react to surprise attacks as quickly as possible to minimize their injury.

Darkest dungeon Took the Indie Darling genre of Roguelike and decided to wonder what it might be like an adventurer who was forced to scary dungeons filled with monsters. Red Hook's subsequent game beautifully simulates that descent to madness, and the despair that madness multiply.
When the prison hair creeps, actions and mistakes are permanent. The surrender means that you may lose one of the party members forever and destroy carefully planned legislative compositions. This means that when mistakes are made, the player must think quickly about how to solve them, without letting negative attributes or conditions worsen to an invisible situation.

Like other tactical RPGs in real time, Foreigners: Dark descent Information the player with Herda a crew of soldiers (in this case colonial marines) through dark and scary environments, all while fighting the game's list of difficult enemies. It is a surprisingly tense experience with horror images in abundance, which forces the player to make quick decisions if Xenomorphs would overwhelm.
