The world of Demon Slayer is so vast that its narrative doesn't actually seem confined within a single point of view. Although the story of Tanjiro is the beating heart of the series, most of the characters have their own backstories, motives and tragedies strong enough to exist independently. Some influenced the outcome of the series, with some stories taking place years before the series even began.
These characters don't just exist to get fans' attention, but are narrative goldmines. Their lives are full of unresolved questions, unknown fights and emotional curves that can stand on their own. Bark Demon Slayer ever grow outside of its central premise, these are the characters that could handle leading their own series.
Demon Slayer: Age, height and birthday of all major characters
A must-have for Demon Slayer fans: ages, heights and birthdays of the series' most iconic characters!

Lady Tamayo
Tamayo was involved in one of the show's most crucial tasks, being the one person who could weaken Muzan in a way that no sword could ever do. Her smarts, self-control, and sense of righteousness made her quietly an irreplaceable part of history, even as she worked far out of the limelight.
A show about Tamayo could focus on how she was turned into a demon, the tragic incidents that occurred as a result, and the arduous and painful journey toward redemption. Seeing her deny Muzan's influence, go against her own nature, and give her life for the benefit of humans would make for a deeply emotional and morally ambiguous story.
7
Kokushibo
Although the manga tells the story of Kokushibo, it barely covers the demon's hundred-year life. His fall is one of the most terrifying what-if scenarios in the series since he was once the second strongest Demon Slayer.
An individual story would explore further into his life since he had been turned into a demon, how he came to terms with it, how he defended his actions, and how he eventually became the strongest among Muzan's followers. The fact that he had his inner conflict, that he competed with Yoriichi, and that he gradually became jealous makes him an interesting character to follow.
6
Gyomei Himejima
The mystery behind the story of Gyomei is already one of the most fleshed out and wonderfully written in the series, and everyone knows him as the strongest demon slayer of the current generation, but much of his life is yet to be discovered. His pre-orphanage background, the tragedy that has affected him, and the quiet determination that followed demand ever more thorough exploration.
A series dedicated to Gyomei would emphasize his development under his Master, how his training made him a subject of discipline, faith and focus on what made him the character we know. Gyomei has the strength of acceptance and responsibility (unlike other characters, who are motivated by anger or ambition), which would give Demon Slayer a whole new emotional dimension.
15 Best Demon Kings in Anime
Not all anime Demon Kings are inherently evil, but all are most certainly overpowered MCs and are not to be trifled with.
5
Muzan Kibutsuji
Even if Demon Slayer the series centers around Muzan, his origin more of a myth than a story. It would be terrifying to see the whole journey that he has gone through to get to where he is and how he slowly lost all of his humanity, creating countless demons and his entire journey to find immortality for centuries.
The Muzan-centric story may discuss how he was human in the early years of his life, how he feared death, and how he was driven beyond the point of no return. It would be even more effective to see his personality and his humanity slowly erode as he becomes the Demon King.
4
Inosuke Hashibira
One of the most popular and humorous characters in the series is Inosuke. But behind the crazy energy there is also a rather tragic background. Growing up in the mountains with no contact at all with human society, he lived by his own instincts instead of being guided.
An individual series would discuss how Inosuke grew up wild, how he developed his own breathing technique through trial and error, and how solitude shaped his own vision of the world. The idea of seeing his story of trying to fit in the main series would be much more compelling after the fandom got to know his tragic birth and his background. His story would be filled with absurdity, brutality and quiet emotional development.
3
Kyojuro Rengoku
Rengoku's story was already really flamboyant, as Tengen would say, but fans would love it if they could see more of him. Being born to one of the most powerful Flame Hashira of his time, he was consequently emotionally neglected by his father and had to learn all by himself, going on to defeat one of the strongest demons and even saving Mitsuri from a lesser moon demon.
Nonetheless, Rengoku became a Hashira in his own right, gaining respect not only from his allies but also from his enemies. He even trained Mitsuri, who also became a Hashira, clearly showing his strength and training ability. Rengoku also gave the Upper Moon Three, Akaza, a hard time even when he was tired from a previous battle. A continuation of Rengoku's story would depict his backstory of becoming a Hashira, his fights with the Lower Moons, and how his optimism in the world was tested over and over again.

2
Akaza
The fandom has one of the strongest love-hate relationships with Akaza. He is adored by fans because of his discipline, strength, respect and strict personal rules of not consuming any female humans, but on the other hand, he is absolutely hated because he was the one who killed Rengoku. It is precisely that contradiction that makes him interesting.
When fans found out about Akaza's tragic human background, many fans fell completely in love with him. The inner struggle and how parts of his humanity endured centuries of violence could be the subject of a special series devoted to his early life as a demon.
1
Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Yoriichi is by far the most powerful human and Demon Slayer in the entire series. So great was his power that even Muzan called him a real monster. A show with Yoriichi as the focus would be unparalleled and highly loved.
The emotional complexity would consist of his loneliness, his guilt over not being able to save his family, and the importance of being stronger than the world could understand, because all he wanted was a peaceful life. Kind of ironic, since his brother got exactly what Yoriichi wanted, and being the strongest was what he wanted. It would not be a story of fighting, but of being alone at the top of life.
