This article contains spoilers for Solo Leveling.
No other undead entity comes close to Sung Jinwoo's shadows enter Solo Leveling when it comes to strength and destructive power. While the Shadow Army is a mix of high and low rank soldiers, their combined strength enhances Jinwoo's dominance on the battlefield in unimaginable ways.
This forgotten Solo Leveling character is the first to know about Jin-Woo's ability to level up
For the first time ever, Sung Jin-Woo reveals that he can reach this forgotten character.
Interestingly, there are shadows in Jinwoo's army whose individual strength is much greater than that of the others. They can safely act as an extension of Jinwoo himself with the power to single-handedly turn the tide of battle. It is even possible for them to defeat an S-rank hunter with their overwhelming strength. With that, it's time to investigate the most powerful shadows under Jinwoo's command in Solo Leveling.
Jim
-
Jima can take down a giant with a single hit.
-
Jima is another underrated shadow in Jinwoo's army, probably due to lack of exposure and late appearance in the series, just like Greed. But underestimating Jima's strength would be a mistake, as the shadow of Boss Naga can easily shoot a giant.
Additionally, Jima has a general rating, making him a shade ahead of the elite knights and knights like Iron, Tank, and Kaisel. If only he got more fights like Beru and Bellion, Jima's strength would have matched his impressive overall rating status.

Bait
-
Tusk's strongest asset is his destructive magic and shamanistic abilities.
No other shadow can compete with Tusk's magical prowess, but in terms of sheer strength he falls behind Greed and Kamish. If we removed him from the orb of greed and his magic, Tusk would lose a lot of his combat advantage. In such a weakened state, even S-rank hunters like Cha Hae-In and Thomas Andre would have a better chance of defeating him.
Still, Tusk's destructive use of magic makes him a deadly asset in battle. His chants are incredibly versatile, allowing him to cast almost any type of spell a fan can imagine. By the end of the series, Tusk can lead three dragons with ease, making him a bigger force on the battlefield.
Greed
-
The greed is far superior to most S-ranked hunters.
Greed is one of the most underrated shadows in Jinwoo's army despite his overall rating. After all, he is the shadow of Hwang Dong-Soo, who stubbornly antagonized Jinwoo for much of Solo Leveling.
However, Greed is very different from his former self, showing deep respect for Jinwoo and genuine remorse for the crimes he once committed against his master in his human life. Also, he appears late in the series, giving him no opportunities to impress readers.
During the War Arc of the Monarchs, while most of the Shadows had a hard time freeing themselves from Sillad's ice prison, Greed only needed to flex his biceps to break out. This phenomenal display of power is enough to place him high on the list, except that he was a former S-rank hunter who was given an upgrade by Norma Selner.
Kamish
-
Kamish can wipe out multiple enemies at once.
It's a shame that Kamish never really gets a chance to show off his abilities Solo Leveling after his brief stint as Jinwoo's temporary shadow in the International Guild Conference Arc. He deserves an intense anime episode, be it a special or OVA, where he can shine as humanity's worst disaster. After all, it took five S-ranked hunters (now national level) just to contain him.
As a red dragon, Kamish possesses immense physical strength and destructive firepower. While it is unclear how strong Kamish is in Antare's army, the fact that he can level the battlefield and wipe out multiple enemies at once suggests a strength that can rival even Sung Jinwoo's general class shadows.

Beru
-
Beru can clear high level dungeons by himself.
Beru is the first shadow in Jinwoo's army to awaken at a general class, placing him at the top of the army after the Jeju Island arc. Over time, he grew stronger alongside Jinwoo, evolving into a reliable shadow capable of leading the shadow army.
In fact, Beru can effortlessly clear an A-ranked dungeon teeming with two-headed wizards, death knights, and even an Arch Lich as the final boss. This feat usually requires a team of A and B rank hunters, but Beru can simply clear out the dungeon even without support.
Additionally, Beru can outmatch hunters like Cha Hae-In, smashing her sword effortlessly, leaving her no time to react. In the War of the Monarchs arc, Beru even defied the Queen of the Insects, cutting through her fingers in the process. His strength had become so enormous that he was even able to break free from Sillad's ice prison.
Igris
-
Full-power Igris can terrify a monarch.
When it comes to the way of the sword, Igris reigns supreme even over Bellion with a Grand Marshal rank. However, even without a sword, Igris is strong enough to overwhelm Sung Jinwoo before he becomes a necromancer and receives the title of Shadow Monarch.
After joining Jinwoo as a shadow, his most notable achievement was holding Frost Monarch Sillad at bay, buying time for Jinwoo to return.
Although Igri's strength was toned down to most Solo Levelingwith Cha Hae-In besting the Red Knight in a solo match and Tusk and Beru outclassing him, Jinwoo's limiters took him down to his full strength. At the end of Solo LevelingIgris became stronger than Beru and the others, except Bellion.
Bellion
-
Bellion is the strongest non-ruler/non-monarch character in Solo Leveling.
Bellion is the only shadow in Sung Jinwoo's army to ever hold the rank of Grand Marshal Solo Levelingwhich placed him at the top of the thousands of soldiers under the Shadow Monarch's command. He served not only as the right hand of Ashborn but also of Jinwoo, which speaks volumes for his unparalleled authority and strength. Besides that, Bellion is also the strongest non-ruler and non-monarch character in the series.
As a Grand Marshal, Bellion possesses powers almost on par with the Monarchs, which explains why he can easily defeat a Shadow Marshal like Beru in the series' final story arcs. The Ant King's Shadow is no match for someone like Bellion, so taking it down takes hardly any effort.
