Of course, this couldn't have been possible if these pirates weren't some of the toughest characters out there, with the three main members being masters of all different Haki types.
Unlike the others on this list, the Roger Pirates are the only ones who have evidence of being much stronger than the Holy Knights due to past experience. Ever since Shanks was taken by the crew at the God Valley Incident, the Holy Knights continued to try to get him back from them, only to be thwarted at every opportunity to do so. The ease with which Scopper mentioned this seems to suggest that they didn't really argue that much.

Although they never directly fought, the God Valley Incident saw Whitebeard and Big Mom on the run from Garp, with the former cutting through a forest and in the process cutting down St. Satchels Maffey with hardly any effort. Later, Rocks was shown defeating much of the entire team just by himself, which not only spoke to his incredible power, but also the lack of danger they posed to his crew.

Aside from their incredible numbers, their main power is incredibly powerful. While they have no way to bypass the invulnerability of the Holy Knights, this is just a refinement of the Haki they can learn, which is something they can already use.
The biggest thing going for them is the captain himself; Kaido. The King of the Beasts is one of the most powerful characters ever introduced within One Pieceand his mastery of all aspects of Haki proves that the Holy Knights would pose every little danger to him. Just like how Rocks was able to defeat most of the team by himself, surely Kaido can as well.

Despite being the crew closest to the Straw Hats themselves, the Red Hair Pirates remain one of the most mysterious groups in the setting. However, their captain, Shanks, is known to be among the strongest characters in the setting, so every single member of the Holy Knights wouldn't even be a challenge for him.
One thing about the Red Hair Pirates is that they currently have the highest total reward of any crew, and a lot of that is because the members all have very similar rewards due to how close they are to power. With that in mind, it's clear that members like Benn Beckman and Lucky Roux and the others would defeat the Holy Knights.

As the highest authority in the World Government and the leaders of the organization, the 5 Elders are easily stronger than the Holy Knights. This is because their strength is the same as theirs in terms of invulnerability, but they also have the weird Yokai transformations on top of this.
The reason for this is the contracts that have been awarded to both groups of Imu, with the Saint Knights holding the Deep Sea Alliance and the 5 Elders holding the Abyssal Alliance, the latter being the greatest of them all. Although they both have invulnerability, the older ones have better overall power and Yokai forms, which definitely puts them even higher than their subordinates.

Fans got a glimpse of this legendary figure's power during the Egghead arc, where the hero's dormant Haki from centuries ago was enough to overwhelm the 5 Elders and affect Imu from a world away.
As such, it's pretty easy to see that the rest of Joyboy's crew were likely around the same power level as him, as this is a trend seen with the rest of the strongest groups in the setting. When this legendary team finally appears, the series' power scaling landscape will never be the same again.
