When someone watches an action anime that Whiten for the first time, they will pay close attention to plot/character development while absorbing the basics of the combat system. The second time around, fans might focus more on how the power rankings shake out, not to mention each character's win rate. It makes it more fun to watch the likes of Whitentreating it like a bloody sport with statistics to match. Viewers will soon realize which fighters are up for grabs and who are lucky enough to even survive the series.
For the most part Whiten Characters with the best win rates are great actors who often get into fights and have the strength to prevail. Curiously, the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki is an exception, as he tends to lose to every major opponent before winning later on. He even lost to Grimmjow and Ulquiorra twice each before defeating them, and he lost to Yhwach twice as well. That leaves others Whiten characters with more impressive win rates.

Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto only loses when his enemies counter his Zanpakuto
Yamamoto is the fiery monster that can destroy worlds
Despite his titanic power as a legendary Soul Reaper, Captain Yamamoto holds the lowest rank among the best performing fighters in Whiten. That's because Yamamoto's legendary power sometimes works against him, with all of Yamamoto's enemies knowing what they're up against—and preparing accordingly. It contributed to Yamamoto's two major losses in Whitenwhich begins with Aizen sealing Yamamoto's fire-based zanpakuto in the battle for the fake Karakura Town. Then Yhwach stole Yamamoto's bankai with his locket before killing Yamamoto with impunity.
Otherwise, Yamamoto's battle record is strong, defeating Yhwach hundreds of years ago and defeating foes such as Wonderweiss and Driscoll Berci in the present day. Wonderweiss was actually meant to counter Yamamoto, but the Gotei 13 commander killed that strange Arrancar anyway, which no doubt impressed many viewers. Yamamoto also easily dispatched the Tres Bestias and three Sternknights with only a fraction of his power, and had the restraint not to kill any of them.
Byakuya Kuchiki tends to win although his arrogance sometimes sabotages him
Byakuya is the very picture of a successful, competent commander
Captain Byakuya Kuchiki presents himself as a proper and professional warrior at all times, and he often justifies the lofty image with battle victories. That includes some easy wins during Byakuya's villainous days, where he casually took out Ichigo in their first encounter. Byakuya also defeated and nearly killed both Renji and Ganju in the Soul Society Arc. He then fought Ichigo to a draw and personally succumbed to Ichigo, losing the fight but also redeeming himself.
7 Most Unlikable Bleach Characters Fans Can't Stand
Bleach had its share of unlikable characters that fans couldn't stand.
Byakuya did well in the following arcs as well, dispatching both Zommari and Yammy with ease and fighting the latter with Kenpachi's help. He also overcame Tsukishima the Fullbringer's strange powers in the following arc, only to suffer some mishaps in the Millennium Blood War arc. Byakuya's complacency became apparent when Ace Nödt caught his bankai and nearly killed him, but Byakuya helped Rukia avenge him later. Most importantly, Byakuya gained a better perspective on himself and his zanpakuto, which was a critical personal gain for him.
Uryu Ishida has done well with his Quincy techniques and planning
Sometimes the plot gets Uryu out of trouble as well
Ichigo's good friend Uryu Ishida, Quincy has one of the best win rates of all Whitendespite being a supporting character. Sure, Uryu sometimes needed help from other characters or last minute twists to technically win in the sense that his enemy died while he didn't. For example, Uryu almost lost to Szayelaporro Grantz, only for Captain Kurotsuchi to take over. Uryu was also knocked out right away when he faced Captain Tosen, but it was hardly a fight, and Uryu had already lost his powers by then. Uryu's second near loss was when Ulquiorra killed him, only for Ichigo to revive and intervene.
Other than that, Uryu is serious Whiten. He helped Ichigo run off a Menos Grande in the early days before defeating a number of Soul Reapers, among them Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Uryu also picked up victories against the Iceringer and Cirucci Sanderwicci in the Arrancar arc before moving on to the Millennium Blood War. It was when Uryu defeated Renji's bankai, won a personal battle against Jugram Haschwalth, and most impressively killed Senjumaru Shutara with the power of The Antithesis. Uryu even contributed to Ichigo's final triumph over Yhwach with the special silver arrowhead.
Kisuke Urahara wins whenever he can prepare his cunning tricks
It made Kisuke a special martial power
Ex-captain Kisuke Urahara doesn't actually fight very often Whitens history, but when he does, he tends to shine. Kisuke fought the scheming Sosuke Aizen in that flashback sequence, but since then Kisuke has dominated the battlefield. He helped drive off Ulquiorra and Yammy with Yoruichi's help, for example, and he helped Ichigo defeat Aizen as well. Then, early in the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, Kisuke contributed to Quilge Opie's downfall.
Bleach: 6 characters who can lead their own series
These Bleach characters are interesting enough to carry their own spin-offs.
Later, Kisuke scored a tactical victory for everyone when he helped the Soul Reapers use Hollow pills to force Sternritter to give up his stolen bankai. Kisuke then battled Askin Nakk Le Vaar with the incredible power of his never-before-seen bankai. For the second time, Kisuke dealt serious damage to a Sternritter to make way for Grimmjow to finish off that opponent. Although Kisuke doesn't always land the final blow, he almost never loses either.
Grimmjow was on a winning streak in the Arrancar Saga
Grimmjow sticks to the idea of getting even with Ichigo
Lots of villains in Whiten have a low win rate, with the likes of Ggio Vega and Zommari Rureaux only participating in a single battle before losing. Loly Airvirrne actually lost several matches without winning any, and it is a miracle that she survived all that. However, Grimmjow Jaegerjaques did pretty well in Whiten as the 6th Espada. He recorded a major victory over Ichigo, then won all but the rematch. Afterwards, Grimmjow easily killed both Loly and Menoly in Las Noches and sealed Ulquiorra away when they clashed.
Grimmjow ultimately lost to Ichigo in their final duel, but he survived and claimed more victories in the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc. He was the one who helped Kisuke finish off both Quilge and Askin, making them almost seem like unwitting battle partners. The biggest takeaway, however, is that regardless of his strong win rate, Grimmjow is still not satisfied. Grimmjow is typical of his kind, a desperate being who tries in vain to fill the void within with ever more power. Nnoitora and Baraggan would also know about it.
Sosuke Aizen has only suffered a permanent defeat
Ichigo finished what Aizen started when he fought Yhwach
Sosuke Aizen is another major Whiten villain who wasn't content to just fight a battle or two and lose to the heroes. His winning streak was launched in a flashback sequence, where then-Lieutenant Aizen effectively won against the entire Gotei 13. He got away with his cruel Hollowfication experiments, and he even escaped Kido Corps' wrath with his own child, impressively. Later, Aizen made fools of Toshiro, Ichigo, and Renji in the Soul Society arc and once again got away.
Aizen went on to defeat even more Soul Reapers and Visoreds, who were little more than workhorses for him. Finally, Aizen suffered his only major defeat in Whitenwith Ichigo and Kisuke teaming up to seal him away. Much later, Aizen almost lost to Yhwach while posing as Ichigo, but his near defeat was averted when Ichigo took over the fight with Uryu's help. Aizen ended up being imprisoned again after that, but he seemed happy with how things turned out, so that can be counted as another win for this seemingly unstoppable villain.
