Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric, two brothers who lose parts of their lives after they try to get their mother back using alchemy. Although they both have to make physical sacrifices, they stick together and search for the Philosopher's Stone to restore their bodies to their original states.
The story of Edward and Alphonse has many factors that keep viewers interested, including their deep bond, their emotional struggles, and the lighthearted moments between them. However despite Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood considered one of the greatest anime, there are some that have even more interesting plot lines for fans to enjoy.
My Hero Academia
From powerless to hero
My Hero Academia follows Izuku Midoriya, a high school student who initially lacks a quirk, but eventually gains the One For All power. When he starts attending UA High School, he quickly works towards the goal of becoming one of the greatest heroes and trains alongside his classmates as the next generation of heroes. Don't just do it My Hero Academia has an inspiring underdog story, but Izuku Midoriya also makes some deep and emotional friendships.
When up against Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia explores more relationships rather than just one between brothers. Along with Izuku Midoriya's friendships at school, the series also explores the deeper question of what really makes someone a hero. Izuku Midoriya and his classmates have to do a lot sacrifices to protect the worldand often have to wrestle with the morality of it all.
Monster
A psychological masterpiece
Monster is a lesser known anime, but is still one of the greatest of all time. Following the story of Kenzo Tenma, a Japanese neurosurgeon working in a hospital in Germany, Monster portrays Kenzo who chooses to save Johan Liebert as a child, who eventually becomes one of the most formidable serial killers. Kenzo soon leaves his profession and devotes his time to searching for Johan to stop him.

Filled with wonder and spectacle, anime loves magical schools, and these shows represent this theme at its best.
Don't just do it Monster portray one of the most terrifying villains on the surface, but the way Johan Liebert psychologically manipulates his victims is what really makes the anime stand out. The anime makes viewers question exactly how Johan came to be this way: where was he born evilor did Society make him like this? It is sure to draw viewers in more than Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Spy x Family
Spy Thriller With Heart
Spy x Family follows Loid Forger, a spy who is given one of his biggest assignments yet: start a new family immediately. To keep the peace between Westalis and Ostaniahe must find a wife and child and enroll the child in Eden Academy to get closer to Donovan Desmond. Although Loid is only in this for the mission at first, he begins to form a real relationship with his makeshift family.
Similar Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Spy x Family shows a deep familial bond and how Lloyd's family is willing to do almost anything for each other. What does Spy x Family stands out, however, is action mixed with comedy, and the hidden identities of both Loid and Yor. Spy x Family follows a livelier theme, but allows viewers to bond more deeply with the Forger family.

Death Note stands out much more than Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood because of the intense and emotional downfall of Light Yagami. It explores how all good people can change when they gain power. The emotional impact of Death Note is far more memorable than that of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
