Siphon filter
Available on PS PLUS Premium
In honor of a halfny Metal Gear Solid Gaming soon I thought I would recommend a similar, but unfortunately less lasting, stealth-action-franchise. Siphon filter Definitely leaning more into the action side of the equation, with solid shooting and movement mechanics, especially for the time – the game was released in 1999 as a PS1 exclusive. While it shows its age, and it is not very surprising why it was darkened by Metal equipmentThe Siphon filter is more than deserving of some love from modern audiences.

JAK 3
Available on PS PLUS Premium
Another bona fide classic, JAK 3 are perhaps the most easily accessible, audience-levy game in Jak & Daxter franchise. With a healthy dose of Gta inspiration, JAK 3 Is a fun, snappy, fantastic sci-fi open world with lots of unique mechanics. The game comes to a combination of platform, photography and driving games, which makes it feel dynamic and consistently surprising, and its story is also quite strong. For those looking for a traditional yet ambitious PS2-ERA experience, it is difficult to do much better than JAK 3.
JAK 3 developed by Naughty Dog, released just three years before the first Uncharted game.

Batman: Arkham Origins
Available on PS PLUS Premium (streaming only)
Although not as highly appreciated as its Rocksteady-developed counterparts, Batman: Arkham Origins is still a strong excursion for caped crusads. From a narrative perspective it is fascinating to see an early version of Arkham the universe, which has become one of the most iconic versions of Batman Mythos. When it comes to the game it is not exactly revolutionary, but it nails the flesh and potato mechanics of Arkham Franchise, with satisfactory battle, serviceable stealth and smart puzzles.

Bound
It's always surprised me that Bound never reached the same cultural heights as games as Abzu and TripBecause it hits many of the same brands. But not very mechanically deep, Bound is a visually fantastic, deceptively emotional game about identity, family and the past, where players have to dance through a dreamscape to defeat a mysterious monster. The game is loaded with symbolic meaning, and while its plot is vague and metaphorically, it is understandable enough to evoke a certain degree of passion. Bound Is criminally underestimated, for me and more than worth some extra attention.
